Britney Spears has been beaten by the press lately and I dare say that given the chance most would write her off. Not me though because I understand that her life is under a constant spotlight and very few of us would come out of that pressure smelling like a rose.

Sources claim that Britney’s rage had reached to such an extent that she had to be given anti-depressants by her doctor.
“The scene in the dressing room before the show was one of absolute blind panic. She knew she hadn’t rehearsed enough and was going to mess up the whole show and possibly her career – then she saw her hairdo and it was the final straw,†The Sun quoted a source, as saying.
“She went into a wild rage and started lashing out at everyone – including her stylist,†the source added.
The source further said that attendees at Las Vegas’ Palms Casino resort fetched Britney a doctor, who gave her the prescription drugs.
“Britney took enough to floor an elephant. They calmed her down – but were clearly too effective,†the source said.
lol… give me a break… this is a bullshit story of people just trying to save her career… she needs to quit and go take care of her kids
Britney Spears has no one to blame but herself for her disastrous performance at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night. The lip-synching pop tart showed up for her big comeback late, unprepared and with a drink in her hand.
On Saturday, the day before the VMAs, Spears was scheduled to arrive at rehearsal at around 1 p.m. Our spy said, “She didn’t even get to Las Vegas until 4:30 p.m. It was ridiculous . . . The production people at MTV were freaking out . . . Nobody can tell Britney what to do anymore. No one can control her. She is a mess.”

Officer, I know I was driving erratically, but I was in a panic and rage before I left the house, so I took a bunch of anti-depresants to calm me down before I hit the road. Britney did it.
Bada Boom Bada Bing, you’re out of the ticket. Forget about it. Seems every celebrity has a medical excuse these days.
